The countdown continues...

With just over one month to go, Beers are being drank across Asia as the Olympic Torch is being passed from bar to bar on it's way to the distinguished Mount Clyde, the home of the 2008 Beer Olympics.

It appears that despite our best efforts, we have NOT been able to secure an 8th team. We have had a large amount of interest in the games but no one is willing to commit. Possible teams may come from the strong drinking team from Champs Billiards and Fine Dining, the Richardsons or from the power pounder, Chris Little and his entourages. If if you know either of these groups, please encourage them to submit their team to this year's Games.

I must say how incredibly proud the BOC has been to hear the smack talk that has been going around in recent weeks regarding the Beer Olympics. I know that many of you have been practicing at such events as Kristy's 30th birthday party, Phil and Vanessa's buck and doe and wedding, the martini bar in Paris, and assorted other backyard barbecues and gatherings. It's a fine sight to behold when a Beer Olympian picks up a pint!
